Back in Action!!!

Hello, first blog post of YR 3.

Simulated Client Project : RepelAnt

This is my product logo for my ' insect repellent'.

We have been asked to create an audiovisual advert that will, sell, entertain and inform the audience this product.

Synopsis
Black and white, a man waits, (V/O – “he waits”) we see his face slowly zooming in as the music starts ( imitation of Phat Planet by Leftfield ‘boom ba doom boom ba doom boom’). He is staring in suspense. We see a gap in the wall and slowly start to zoom in on it. We see a slow zoom on the clock. (V/O “ and I’ll tell you what, tick followed tock followed tick….”)The shots cut between each other and reach extreme close ups. At this point the music cuts, and we see a close up of his face, slow motion, he blinks and turns his head (V/O “ and the fat drummer hit the beat with all his heart”), back to real time, and full colour, he turns and shouts “ OI TUBBY, PACK IT IN!!!” we cut to a shot of another man sitting a drum kit, looking shocked at the man’s shouting. “Alright” he says in a whining sarcastic way. The first man then turns back to looking at the whole, spots an ant and sprays him. Music starts again, cut to a pack shot of the ‘ RepelAnt’ with a dead ant next to it, with the visual tagline, ‘ For those annoying little pests’. There is a blurred image behind the pack shot, in the background, of the first man jumping on the other man at the drum kit.
